We've started 2017 with some exciting progress on site - the generous proportions of the new extension are beginning to take shape!
The team thoroughly enjoyed the ascent and descent of the roof of the O2 Millennium Dome - a great experience. It was good to kick off the holiday season with some energetic activity!
The studio recently paid a visit to the newly re-opened Design Museum in the former Commonwealth Institute. Aside from the exhibitions we'd definitely recommend a trip purely for the amazing swooping ceiling overhead...
We're delighted that our Hackney house project has been selected for the 2017 Don’t Move, Improve! exhibition and magazine.
Brian & Kevin recently took a quick trip to Vicenza to see some of Andrea Palladio's influential work from the 16th century - including the wonderful Teatro Olimpico.
On site resourcefulness highlights a temporary solution that combines functionality and materiality!
One of our projects has been featured in an editorial on Houzz. Click here to see the full article.

Many thanks to the team at the Barbican for a very interesting architectural tour of the iconic Barbican estate and Arts centre... and for making sure we didn't get lost!
We enjoyed collaborating with our friend Eli Hatleskog on a joint entry to a competition to design a new shop prototype in Norway. And now that the result has been announced we're able to share a glimpse of our entry with you. Unfortunately we didn't win this competition, but our appetite has been whetted for more!
Our house enlargement and refurbishment in Bow is almost done, complete with a new basement for the kitchen and dining space
Our Minuit Moins Sept cobbler's shop for Christian Louboutin is described in the October issue of Vogue as "without question, the most elegant cobbler in London".
A few pictures from our recent outing to this year's Serpentine Pavilion. Credit to B.I.G. Architects on a very successful design; even Alfie appreciated the architecture.. and the shade!
Our refurbishment of The Sutton Arms on Carthusian Street is complete.
A quiet interlude from all the activity on site at our pub refurbishment near The Barbican
Ta Da - the final finishing touch to our Stoke Newington project, the steel handrail has now been installed on the stairs. Thanks to all who helped make it happen!

We are an architecture and interiors practice who take pride in creating innovative design solutions for our clients. While each commission comes with its own particular set of parameters, the way we approach our projects is always consistent, involving analysis, dialogue, problem solving and invention.
Clarity is an important theme in all our work, and this manifests itself in many ways - in the overall form of a space, in how it is lit, in the materials used to create it. Thoroughness and attention to detail have become hallmarks of our work, and we take particular pride in the level of care we assign to all stages of a project. Most of our work comes through word-of-mouth referrals, and we receive a considerable amount of repeat commissions from clients.
We have extensive experience of a wide range of project types, both new-build and refurbishments, including commercial, leisure / retail and residential - across an equally broad range of scales and budgets. Please feel free to contact us with any enquiries.
